Presented at Proto/eco/logics: Speculative Materialism in Architecture symposium in Rovinj, Croatia, August, 2011

This presentation displayed a project resulting from a collaborative investigation of multi-agent systems using Processing and modeling software. The final output was a speculative design proposal for the Istrian region of Croatia involving repurposed rock quarry sites and agent based ecological reclamation strategies.

2012     SYNTHETIC LANDSCAPES: ACADIA @ DIGITAL APTITUDES

Participant in a 2 day workshop at Objet Headquarters in Billerica, MA

Run by Gil Akos, Ronnie Parsons and Andy Payne.

I designed and produced a 3D printed component that was exhibited with other components in a digitally fabricated synthetic landscape. The landscape was formally presented during a Special Focus Session on Friday, 02 March during the 100th ACSA Annual Meeting, and were part of a traveling exhibition that circulated North America in 2012. March 2012

MATERIAL MATTERS

Participant in a two day workshop at StudioMode in Brooklyn. Workshop focused on novel form generation and surfacing techniques through the use of parametric design software and the CNC mill, May 2012
